If the sale of old phones really safe?

If the sale of old phones really safe?

In our fast-paced society hardly a month goes by now, which are not more smart phones with new features or improved performance brought on the market. Logically, there is also a fairly large number of people who want to be kept up to date and therefore buy at regular intervals, a new Sony np-ff50. As well as saving in recent years quite highly appreciated, some people decide to bring their old phones for a little cash to the man.

That irrespective of one or the other € you should still be aware that a sale is not necessarily secure. This means in plain English, that it is often the case that many private data is visible when they sell the ThinkPad z60t battery for the new owner. It's the use in many cases nothing if the data is erased for safety before handing over to the subsequent user.

Until recently I was still of the opinion that these messages are disseminated by the phone manufacturers deliberately to curb the sale of used mobile phones. This would buy for the company, of course, the advantage that again and more people choose to prefer a cheap new phone and a new HP pavilion dv6 battery for their laptop.

But it is not just desperate actions of mobile phone operators to prove now some studies. Looking at the evaluations of the individual studies could be fast but refrain from a possible sale. In addition to relatively harmless information such as phone numbers on some mobile phones, even highly confidential information such as credit card numbers or passwords several were found. That information of Sony np-qm91d should normally be stored but not necessarily on the Internet is no longer a secret. In the event of a loss or even a sale of the phone, situations could well happen that such data fall into the wrong hands. The risk of data abuse and even fraud attempts can not be paved.

Many people will feel at ease now, how you have to be so stupid and can keep all your private data on your computer that equipped with a ThinkPad t60p battery. This reasoning is logical, but also with manual deletion of these data continues to be an acute danger. Often it is only a matter of a few clicks, to the deleted information for the new users are available again. Now arises the question whether it should not be generally of a transfer or a sale of the mobile phone. Those who used the few euros for the phone, despite these dangers do not want to miss, which should at least make sure that the old SIM card is destroyed completely.
